FAQ's

What Time should I Show Up?

Service starts promptly at 10am. From 915-10am there is free coffee and donuts for you and your family to enjoy.  If you have children, consider coming earlier to get them registered into our system before service starts.

Do you have Childcare/Children's Ministry?

Yes! During Sunday morning service we have a Nursery/Preschool class for infants through Pre-k and a children's class for 1st-5th grade. Both of those take place downstairs. Every week they get a lesson and usually do a fun craft! Feel free to keep your children with you for service as well.   All our children workers have up to date background checks and are wonderful with kids!  We also have a child check in/out system to make sure your kiddos are very safe!

Is there a Dress Code?

WDM Open Bible is a church for everyone. We encourage people to come as they are and dress in what feels most comfortable.

What is Service Like?

WDM Open Bible is an engaging, dynamic atmosphere geared towards ministering to your entire family. We are full of life, creativity, love and encouragement. There is a live band that will lead us in worship. Feel free to sing, clap, jump, sit, kneel, meditate, etc., whatever you need to do to "get your worship on."  There is often people worshipping with flags/banners on any given Sunday morning. (read more about it here). Following worship there is a message focused on helping us be more like Jesus in all aspects of our life. Expect to be encouraged and challenged. Some weeks we follow the message with a time to respond whether that be in action, reflection, or something else.

Do you have Small Groups?

At WDM Open Bible we call our small groups "Table Groups." Times and locations vary per semester. You can find our current Table Groups HERE. The purpose of Table Groups is to join others at a table for food and conversation. Similar to family dinners at your grandparents house growing up. Everyone and everything is welcome. There are 2 rules: Besides your first time at a table group, its expected you bring some food item to share with the group (no big meals expected but also not discouraged). Number 2, we ask that if possible please stay until everything is cleaned up.  Look forward to seeing you at the table.

Do you Talk About Money?

We do. Money is part of our everyday life, so living a Godly life sometimes involves talking about how we handle our finances.  If you are visiting us, there is no pressure to give any money to our church but you definitely can. Our offerings not only support the church but go to support missionaries, benevolent acts to our community, and taking care of those in need around us.  If you would like to see a copy of our current budget just ask!
